Our Three Scholarship Pathways
The Royal Academic Excellence Scholarship
This merit-based scholarship is dedicated to students who consistently demonstrate unparalleled academic brilliance. It is awarded annually to students who achieve top ranks in our internal TRIS Scholarship Assessment Test (TSAT) or secure exceptional percentages in previous school board/annual examinations.
Coverage: Up to 100% concession on tuition fees (based on merit percentage).
Eligibility: Students entering Grade 6 through Grade 11 with a track record of 99% or above (or equivalent CGPA).
The Global Talents & Champions Scholarship
True to our promise of holistic development, this scholarship honors students who excel outside the traditional classroom. Whether your child is a state/national level athlete, an exceptionally gifted musician or artist, or a young tech innovator who has built an incredible STEM project, we want to fuel their passion.
Coverage: 25% to 75% waiver on tuition fees.
Eligibility: Open to students with certified achievements (medals, certificates, or portfolios) from recognized state, national, or international bodies in sports, arts, or science exhibitions.
The 'Shining Star' Community Support Scholarship
We believe in uplifting our local community. This need-based scholarship provides financial aid to hardworking families, single parents, or defense personnel families who want a world-class education for their children but face financial hurdles.
Coverage: Partially to fully funded tuition assistance evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Eligibility: Granted based on a thorough review of the family’s annual income statement, a personal interview, and the student’s passing marks in the basic entry assessment.
How to Apply for a Scholarship
The application process for scholarships runs parallel to our admissions cycle. To apply:
Submit the Scholarship Inquiry Form: Download the scholarship application packet from our portal or request one from the school admissions desk.
Provide Supporting Documentation: Attach all required proofs (previous year’s mark sheets, sports certificates, or income verification documents).
Take the TSAT Assessment: Eligible candidates will be invited to appear for the The Royal International School Scholarship Assessment Test.
Panel Interview: Shortlisted candidates and their parents will have a friendly interactive session with our Scholarship Committee.
